How to Order Custom Jerseys for Your Whole Team

· 5 min read

Ordering jerseys for a whole team sounds like a big job, but most of the work happens before you ever open a website. If you collect the right information up front, placing the order takes just a few minutes. Here's how to do it without the back-and-forth.

1. Collect your roster first

Before you order, gather three things from every player: their size, the name they want printed, and their number. A simple spreadsheet or shared note works well, with one row per player.

  • Ask players to measure their chest instead of guessing a size (more on that below).
  • Have each player type their own name so spelling mistakes are theirs to catch.
  • Check for duplicate numbers before you order, not after the jerseys arrive.

2. Pick the jersey style and color

Choose the sport style first, such as football, baseball, basketball, hockey or soccer and all-sport. Then choose the color your team wants. For kids' teams, look at the youth basketball and youth sports jerseys, which come in youth sizes 8 to 20.

Have both adults and kids on the team? You can mix adult and youth jerseys in the same cart.

3. Get sizes right

Every jersey page has a size chart. The easiest way to pick a size is to measure around the fullest part of the chest and find the matching row. If a player falls between two sizes, go with the bigger one. Read our jersey sizing guide for more detail.

4. Add one jersey per player

On the jersey page, choose a size, then enter that player's name and number for the front, back and sleeve (basketball jerseys are sleeveless, so they don't have a sleeve number). Every field is optional, so leave anything blank you don't want printed. Click add to cart, and the size stays selected for the next player. Just type the next name and number and add again.

5. Review the cart carefully

Because every jersey is made to order, your cart is your last chance to catch mistakes. Compare it line by line with your roster: size, name spelling and number. Jerseys are custom, so we can't take returns for typos or the wrong size. See our return policy for details.

6. Check out once for the whole team

You pay for the whole team in a single checkout. The price on each jersey already includes the names and numbers, sales tax, and shipping anywhere in the US, so nothing gets added at the end. After you order, you'll get a receipt by email.

Quick checklist

  • Roster with size, name and number for every player
  • No duplicate numbers
  • Names spelled exactly how they should print
  • Sizes picked from the size chart, sizing up when in between
  • Cart double-checked before checkout
